“Playing the role of the Leading Player in Pippin for ReVision Theatre was vocally and physically demanding. Thanks to Andy who coached me with the vocals, I was able to sing with ease and give performances that allowed my voice to soar.”

Andy is a talented music director and vocal coach. He has a great ear, a sensitive understanding of what a composer/lyricist intends, and a playful approach to performance and storytelling through music. I’ve learned so much from Andy throughout the years. Can’t wait to continue working with him.

Andy is a fabulous vocal coach! I met Andy while studying musical theatre at Montclair State University in a course called “Acting for the Singer.” I frequently turned to in class for advice on emotional grounding along with help in finding character clues in the music. He has a delicate, but yet inspiring way in talking to vocalists that lends an ease to his relationship with you and really has an eye for guiding you in telling a story with your piece. I always felt a sense of freedom with Andy, privately coaching with him away from class, that was very rewarding.

Andy is such a supportive and insightful teacher. He truly has a gift when it comes to vocal coaching! I think it was because of his coaching that I was able to feel completely prepared for auditions and go into the room with the confidence I needed at the very beginning of my time in NYC!
